Last updated: July 2026

1. About These Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of BeAbout's website (be-about.com.au) and the support services we provide. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. If you are engaging services on behalf of a participant, you confirm you have authority to do so.

BeAbout is an NDIS provider operating in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

2. Our Services

BeAbout provides the following NDIS-funded support services:

BeAbout Support — 1:1 personalised support services funded under NDIS Core Supports, including Assistance with Daily Life and Assistance with Social and Community Participation.

BeAbout Social — Group social day programs and community activities funded under NDIS Core Supports.

BeAbout Connect — Overnight stays, respite weekends, and multi-day getaways funded under NDIS Core Supports.

All services are subject to the participant holding an active NDIS plan with relevant funding and the execution of a Service Agreement between BeAbout and the participant or their authorised representative.

3. Service Agreements

Before services commence, a Service Agreement will be provided outlining the specific supports to be delivered, agreed rates, cancellation terms, and the rights and responsibilities of both parties. The Service Agreement forms the binding contract for service delivery. These Terms and Conditions apply in addition to the Service Agreement.

4. Pricing & Payment

All service fees are charged in accordance with the current NDIS Price Guide and Disability Support Pricing Arrangements. BeAbout will not charge above the NDIS price limits for any funded support. Invoicing and payment terms will be set out in the Service Agreement. For self-managed and plan-managed participants, invoices will be issued directly to the participant or their plan manager as agreed.

5. Cancellations

Cancellation terms are outlined in the individual Service Agreement. BeAbout follows the NDIS cancellation policy guidelines. Short-notice cancellations may incur a cancellation fee as permitted under current NDIS pricing arrangements. We ask participants and families to communicate changes as early as possible so that cancelled spots can be offered to other participants.

6. NDIS Rights & Responsibilities

As an NDIS provider, BeAbout operates in accordance with the NDIS Act 2013 and the NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators. Participants have the right to receive supports that are safe, respectful, and free from abuse, neglect, exploitation, and discrimination. Participants may raise concerns or complaints directly with BeAbout or with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission at any time.

7. Child Safety

BeAbout is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people in our care. All team members hold current police checks and are trained in child-safe practices. BeAbout complies with relevant NSW child safety legislation and the NDIS Practice Standards relating to the safety of people with disability.
