Elle's journey into disability support started as a House Manager in an independent living home, working closely with residents and their families through the everyday moments that matter most.

Before BeAbout, Elle spent years working in travel and tourism — an industry built entirely on creating experiences that people remember for the rest of their lives. She saw an opportunity to bring that same thinking into disability support. The result is BeAbout: a service where no two days look the same, where participants go places and do things they genuinely love, and where support feels less like a service and more like a friendship.

As co-founder and director, Elle shapes the direction of BeAbout — from the experiences we run to the team members we bring on. She's deeply invested in every participant's journey, and you'll often find her right in the middle of the action at a BeAbout Social day or Connect event.

Andres came into disability support through the same independent living home where he and Elle first worked together. From the very beginning, it was clear this wasn't just a job for him — it was a calling. His natural warmth, his genuine enthusiasm for the people around him, and his deep commitment to making every participant feel truly seen and valued made him an exceptional support worker from day one.

As co-founder, Andres brings that same energy to the business itself — always pushing for more meaningful experiences, stronger relationships with participants and families, and a team culture that genuinely reflects the values BeAbout was built on. He leads by example: present, enthusiastic, and endlessly committed to the people in his care.

Catalina holds a special place in the BeAbout story — she was the very first person Elle and Andres brought on to the team, and has played a pivotal role in shaping what BeAbout became in its earliest days.

What makes Catalina exceptional is her ability to make everyone around her feel completely at ease — whether it's a new participant on their very first BeAbout day, or someone she's known for years. She brings a fun, bubbly energy to every session that's completely natural and completely contagious. Participants light up around her.

She has a genuine passion for encouraging social connection and helping participants step into their community with confidence. For Catalina, the goal of every session is simple — make sure everyone leaves feeling better than when they arrived.

Sole brings something genuinely unique to the BeAbout team — a background as a qualified doctor with experience in dermatology, combined with a warmth and approachability that makes her a natural fit for disability support. She transitioned into support work because she wanted a more personal, human connection with the people she cared for — and BeAbout gave her exactly that.
